Yes, Osteopathy is suitable for patients of all ages. Our team have trained professionally for many years and will adapt to meet the specific needs of each individual who attends a treatment.

Osteopathy is known for its gentle approach. While some patients may experience mild discomfort during treatment, the techniques used are designed to be comfortable and non-invasive.
At Active Care Maidstone, we ensure that each of our patients voice is heard before, during and after an appointment. There are many methods we can use to get the results you need, so we won’t use any click manipulations if you don’t wish us to.
You can check that each of our practitioners are qualified by visiting the General Osteopathic Register.

All new patients will require an 60 minute initial consultation appointment to briefly discuss their reason for visiting and medical history before proceeding with treatment. Ongoing Osteopath appointments at Active Care will typically last up to 45 minutes. Your osteopath will assess your progress and discuss any recommendations for ongoing treatment. You can book your treatment via our online portal.

In most cases, our patients will remain clothed for the duration of their osteopathy appointment so we recommend patients wear comfortable, loose clothing. Our team are professionals and will do all they can to ensure you are comfortable throughout your appointment.

Our easy to use online booking system allows patients to schedule their own Osteopathy sessions direct with us here at Active Care. An email confirmation will be sent you, alongside reminders before your appointment.

Dan is often joined in clinic by Active Care’s most loveable team member DJ.
