Visceral Osteopathy At Active Care Maidstone

At Active Care, we are delighted to offer Visceral Osteopathy as one of our core treatment styles. Visceral Osteopathy focuses on working the human body as a whole, treating the person not a specific diagnosis and therefore encouraging the body to heal itself.

What is Visceral Osteopathy?

Visceral Osteopathy is performed by applying manual therapy techniques to the body’s inner organs, to treat a much wider range of conditions than traditional osteopathy treatment can give.

Our experienced osteopaths use a combination of techniques to detect and address restrictions, tensions and imbalances in areas throughout the body.
